The Hagan Scholarship Foundation, established in 2009 by Dan Hagan, has provided over 4000 scholarships. Under this scholarship, 514 colleges and universities will attend from 48 states of the United States. Recipients are selected based on academic achievements, financial need, leadership abilities and community involvement. For the 2024 academic year, the Hagan Scholarship will benefit over 1500 recipients.

Important Points:

• Need to achieve 12 credit hours in each semester or even if you earn more credits which is good for the recipient.
• Work 240 hours in the twelve months from January 1, 2024 in the college.
• Score 24 or higher on the ACT (Composite Score) or 1150 on the SAT.
• Complete the FAFSA in 2024 using 2023 tax return information.
• Apply for eligible Federal and State grants.
• There is no conviction of a felony.

Benefits of Hagan Scholarship Foundation 2024 – Spring Application

Applicants who are willing to apply for the Hagan Scholarship 2024, they must know the benefits of this scholarship. Below, I have explained the benefits of the Hagan Scholarship Foundation (HSF) 2024.

1. Undergraduate Scholarships – up to $60,000 over 8 semesters ($7,500 per semester) to cover tuition, room and board, books, supplies and other costs.

2. Graduate Scholarships

The recipients who graduate college while in the undergraduate Hagan program and qualify for the graduate extension will receive scholarship up to $40,000 over 8 semesters.

3. Additional Benefits

a) First Year: $1,000

b) Second Year: For personal $100 will be given for Schwab account and for HSF Schwab Account $10,000

c) Third Year: i) $15,000 for HSF Schwab Account

ii) Study/Travelling Allowance: Up to $8000

d) Fourth Year: $20,000 for HSF Schwab Account

4) After Graduation:

Every recipient who have qualified for the HSF Scholarship 2024, will get scholarship benefit up to $10,000 under HSF Schwab Account.

Important Notes

• Schwab Scholar Account to receive for Awards, is a taxable account.
• The scholarship will help recipients to pay personal and transportation costs.
• The parents will not require to pay for the EFC.
• After first academic year, the applicant may onetime transfer their scholarship to another college/university.
•  The failure applicant will not be allowed for the upcoming scholarship benefits and also loss HSF Schwab Account.
• The home-schooled applicants will not get benefits of the scholarship.

Application Process for Hagan Spring Scholarship Foundation 2024

If you need to know what documents and other information are required, you can follow the below process for the HSF Spring Scholarship 2024. The application process is free for all qualified applicants.

1. Applications open on January 15, 2024, for the 2024-2025 academic year. This is only for new applicants, not those who already applied in the Fall.

2. The deadline to apply is March 1, 2024.

3. Applicants must create an account on the Hagan Scholarship portal and submit the entire application, including documents like 

a) high school transcripts

b) test scores

c) proof of work hours

4. Applications are reviewed for eligibility and compliance. Applicants are notified of their status after this review.

5. Finalists, those who are selected, must provide a FAFSA Submission Summary (FSS).

6. Scholarships are awarded to the selected finalists. Up to 1,000 new scholarships can be given out.

7. After the final decisions, All finalists are notified whether they have been awarded the scholarship.
